🗓️ Bioinformatics Workshop Series from the URI AI Lab
The University of Rhode Island’s Artificial Intelligence (URI AI) Lab invites the Unity community to attend their bioinformatics workshop series, which will offer a practical introduction on how to get started with conducting bioinformatics analyses on Unity. The workshops will guide the participants through the different steps required to run a program on Unity as well as introducing examples of bioinformatics pipelines and software in popular research areas.
When: Mon 3/24 - Fri 3/28 at 3-4pm
- Monday, March 24 - Getting started on Unity: Data storage and transfer, submitting jobs, bioinformatics software, and biological datasets.
- Tuesday, March 25 - How to efficiently use the resources on Unity
- Wednesday, March 26 - Amplicon sequencing data analysis
- Thursday, March 27 - Metagenomics data analysis
- Friday, March 28 - Protein structure prediction
