Benjamin Pachev is a Research Fellow at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. His research interests include GPU computing, optimizing HPC workflows, and automatic code generation for numerical methods. Benjamin received his PhD from the University of Texas at Austin, which focused on improving models of hurricane storm surge and automatic generation of CUDA kernels for solving PDEs. In his free time, Benjamin loves to run, play board games, and spend time with family.
